Co-hosted by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), the Mental Health Commission of Canada, and the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction, this first-of-its-kind conference took place at the Toronto Hilton from May 27 to 29, 2022.

The conference was offered in-person and virtually, and open access free videos are now available for the public and free to watch until April 1st, 2023.

Are you curious about psychedelics and their potential for improving mental health and substance use health? Join Homewood Research Institute (HRI) for an upcoming HRI Talk, where we explore emerging evidence about the use of psychedelic therapies in the treatment of mental illness and addictions. A panel of experts will answer your questions in real time.

We want to shift the action from the research lab to the real-world clinical application, and start making a difference in the lives of those living with mental health and substance use disorders. To this end, researchers, clinicians, policy-makers and people with lived experience gathered at the 2022 international conference in Toronto to break down barriers to progress, share original research, and build a network of knowledge-exchange opportunities.

On the evening of Saturday, May 28th, R2R2022 hosted an exciting panel event of international experts addressing facts, myths and misconceptions about psychedelics and related traditional medicines for mental health and substance use.
